neuesLicht was not founded by a businessman, but the designer, Simon Brünner. He has fulfilled his dream of being able to deliver from concept to implementation, all from a single source.
We started with optical fibers, but quickly discovered LED technology. With the world's largest and by far the most complex OLED installation in 2011, we demonstrated our capability of future-oriented lighting solutions. Simon Brünner is not interested in mass production, therefore we do not keep things in stock to become dusty, but manufacture everything individually for our customers - ranging from single pieces to unique project series. The ideas come from clients or Simon Brünner himself, which are then conducted and implemented, and are sometimes even delivered personally, to as far as Malaysia, to guarantee professional installation.
We have no idea or desire in light bulbs or fluorescent tubes. However, the strength of neuesLicht lays in the fact that we are "digital native" regarding light technologies. We perform to perfection, when it comes to LEDs and OLEDs, with regards to their control or implementation of sensor techniques - purely, "digital light"! In addition, we also work with companies outside the lighting industry, such as glass and wallpaper manufacturers, and show them possibilities of digital light, in order to enrich their own products. For OSRAM, Simon Brünner founded a Designlab in 2011, and was appointed Art Director. Although most of all we work together with architects to find solutions for their projects, from concept to implementation.
